Aimee and Jim-The Wychmere, Harwichport, Massachusetts

Aimee and her bridesmaids looked pretty in raspberry pink dresses with their generous white bouquets of  white roses and peonies with a hint of pink and green.  Aimee and Jim had their beautiful ceremony on the lawn at Wychmere in front of the ocean.  All of the guests gathered on the dock for a group photo before being wowed by the beautiful room filled with tall centerpieces of pink lilies.  Everyone enjoyed dancing to Night Shift, especially Aimee’s grandmother.  We had just enough light at the beach to get some wonderful images of Jim and Aimee.  We just love going to the Wychmere and hope to do many weddings there in 2013, Congrats and good luck to Aimee and Jim.

Annette and Jeff-The Hedgebound Estate, Truro, Massachusetts

Annette and Jeff wanted a special place for their small intimate wedding on the cape. They picked the Hedgebound Estate, an historic home in Truro that has a backyard big enough for a tented reception.  All of their details were carefully thought out. There were lots of different herbs to shower the newly married bride and groom as they walk down the aisle after their ceremony.  Annette’s ivory dress looked perfect with her beautiful bouquet of lilies with green accents.  The guys looked smart in their navy suits with pink ties.  The guests danced under the stars and enjoyed our open air Bench photo booth.  The long tables were filled with antiqued vases with perfectly bloomed roses in pale pinks and orange paired with white dahlias and herbs.  It was a perfect night!

Jackie and Tim-New Seabury Country Club, Mashpee, Massachusetts

After getting married at the summer chapel in Falmouth Heights, Jackie and Tim revisited the site of their engagement at a local Popponesset Beach.  Tim’s family has a cottage nearby and the beach was a perfect spot to make plans for the future.  We went to the spot where Tim proposed to Jackie and then off to the reception at the New Seabury Country Club in Mashpee.  The girls looked fresh in blue short dresses and we always love a chapel length veil for photos.  The beach at New Seabury is a wonderful location for bridal party photos and Jackie and Tim enjoyed a sunset stroll on the beach. Great time had by all!

Jennifer and Jared-Nathaniel Winsor House,Duxbury, MA

Our first meeting with Jennifer and Jared had to happen on Skype since they couldn’t make it to the studio from their new home in Dubai.  It is always fun to work with destination wedding clients.  Their ceremony and reception took place a the lovely Nathaniel Winsor House in Duxbury.  This historic home is in a perfect spot on Washington Street and the garden is great for a tent for ceremony and reception.  Jen looked super in her short silk dress accented by her pink and white bouquet of roses, peonies and hydrangeas. I love shooting in an historic home, it gives us great backdrops and we only have to go a few feet to get great images.

Natalie and Matt, Bumpus Park, Duxbury, Massachusetts and East Bay Grill, Plymouth, Massachusetts

Bumpus Park in Duxbury was a beautiful destination for Natalie and Matt’s ceremony.  The guests kept cool with frozen lemonade, what a great summer afternoon wedding.  The short silvery gray bridesmaids dresses were contrasted with orange bouquets and the guys wore tan suits with J. Cres ties with orange seahorses on them.  We just loved having Natalie and her bridesmaids stop in front of Engine Company One at Bluefish Cove before the ceremony.  My assistant photographer Ashley was able to stop traffic at Powder Point bridge  long enough to get some really wonderful bridal party images.

Natalie and Matt boarded Matt’s father’s boat for a quick trip over to Plymouth for their reception.  Our friend Brett Heeney of Crackerjack Entertainment made sure all of the guests had a wonderful time.
