Jodie and Kyle brought the sunshine along with them from Ft. Lauderdale when they got married recently on the Cape. The day began with lots of rain, but just minutes before the reveal, the sun came out and stayed for the day. All of Jodie and Kyle’s nieces and nephews enjoyed being a big part of the wedding. All of the bridesmaids looked great in their black dresses and bouquets with pink and purple accents. As always the ballroom at Ocean’s Edge was so impressive with the high and low centerpieces complimenting the ivory linens. Everyone enjoyed the day, it was perfect for Jodie and Kyle.
After meeting with Kirsten and her mother, I knew I would love working with them for Kirsten’s wedding. We loved Kirsten’s ivory dress that seemed to be made just for her. We were crazy about those lovely bows at the back of her shoes. Her bouquet of callas and lilies was perfect. Bryan looked super in his navy suit and green bow tie. We were lucky that the church in Chatham also sells pumpkins on their front lawn, so we were able to easily get some autumn flavor for their images. The beach at Chatham Light, just down the street, was a great stop on our way to the Weyquasset. We were blown away by the small sailboats that were used for the guests place cards. With Kirsten and Bryan’s busy schedules, we hope they will find time to spend lots of time together in the future.
We just love a black and white wedding. Jacqueline looked so elegant in her white satin gown with some beading at the waist coupled with a beautiful veil with wide trim on the edges. The girls started the day in their monogrammed boyfriend white button down shirts with their initials embroidered on the pocket. Such a great idea for a bridesmaid’s gift. Again, we love the long black dresses paired with the classic black tuxedos worn by the groomsmen. Such a great look! We have shot so many weddings at Christ the King in Mashpee and we love the natural light. The church just went through some renovations and the great wood backdrop to the altar works well with all of the neutral shades on the walls. After the ceremony, we were lucky to go to a relative’s beautiful home on the water for the formals. The country club let us use one of the front rooms for our Bench photo booth and the guests had lots of fun creating a perfect guest book for Jacqueline and Jared. Perfect day, perfect couple.
Courtney and Aaron had a wonderful ceremony in Cohasset and were off to Black Rock for their big party. The jeweled toned blue long bridesmaids dresses were contrasted with lovely orange and pink roses, dahlias and tulip bouquets. It was nice to see the long dresses, we have seen mainly short dresses this season, but love the more formal look of a long dress. The guys looked great in their classic black tuxedos with black ties. We started the day on Courney’s favorite beach in Minot and stopped again after the ceremony at Sandy Beach in Cohasset for their formal images. I love Sandy Beach! The party was enjoyed by all of the guests in the perfectly decorated Black Rock’s ballroom.
