Our weddings took us from Cohasset to Chatham and we were lucky to work with so many wonderful couples. Here is a small selection of images from the year of 2012. Thanks to all of our couples that wrote so many great reviews that we were awarded “Best of the Knot” 2013. We are all looking forward to our 2013 season.
Jessie and Marc met a while they were going to college at Salve Regina and decided that they had to get married in Newport. The small chapel at Salve Regina was a perfect place for their ceremony and the Yachting Center of Newport was great for their nautical themed wedding. The bridesmaids wore short navy dresses with simple white hydrangea bouquets. The Yachting Center is right in the middle of Newport off of Thames Street and is a perfect spot on a beautiful summer evening for a wedding. We wish Jessie and Marc much love and luck in their life together.
We met Kelly when she was a bridesmaid in one of our weddings in Scituate. She planned a beautiful day that started near Cullen’s summer home in Weekapaug, Rhode Island. The guys were able to walk to the beautiful chapel in the neighborhood for their ceremony. Their reception was at the Weekapaug Golf Club and was filled with talented wedding guests. One of Kelly’s cousins sang At Last and her Uncle sang Don’t Stop Believing. Kelly and her father entertained the crowd with a great father/daughter dance. The bridesmaids wore teal blue short dresses and carried rose bouquets with peach accents. The weather was perfect and so was the wedding, Congrats Kelly and Cullen.
We love being back at the Red Lion, we haven’t been there for a while and it is always so nice to work so close to home. Janelle and Tygher planned a vintage theme and embraced the idea of getting married in a barn, since Tygher comes from upstate New York. The ceremony took place in the Lion’s Den and we used all of the great locations at the Red Lion for the formal photos. We loved Janelle’s vintage plate table numbers. Her mother had been picking up old china at an antique store in Cohasset for over a year. We had such a great time with everyone, thanks Janelle and Tygher.
It always feels good to cover a sister of a bride’s wedding. You know all of the family and it feels great to be with everyone again. Julie’s sister Laura got married a few years ago and now has a beautiful daughter with her husband Greg. Julie and John’s day started with a ceremony at Christ the King in Mashpee and on to a reception at the Ridge Club in Sandwich. Julie looked so amazing in her fitted lace dress and the bridesmaids wore light gray dresses. We went to the long boardwalk at Sandwich Town Beach which is a wonderful destination for photos. Julie made the sign that lead everyone to the reception at the Ridge Club. Thanks to the Cristoforo family for including me in so many memories.
