This was a special wedding for me. My favorite babysitter for my sons recommended me to her sister-in-law Alyssa. Alyssa and Michael had their wedding and reception at Granite Links Country Club in Quincy. The black bridesmaid’s dresses were complimented by the flower girls and ring bearers purple accents. I always love taking all of my couples that have had their receptions at Granite Links to the old quarry nearby. The wildflowers and old walls to the quarry make a romantic background for the formal photos of the bride and groom.
Getting married at a place that has meaning and memories for either the bride and groom always ends well. The beach that served as a backdrop for Lianna and Mike’s ceremony in Brewster is a beach where Mike spent his summers. Ocean’s Edge in Brewster has some many venues for weddings and one of the rooms upstairs in the mansion with a wonderful balcony was the location for their reception.
The Plymouth Plantation made a perfect spot for Melissa and Kevin’s wedding. This Plantation overlooks the ocean and the ceremony was in the tent located on the property. The coral accents were beautiful for the event and we always love a barn to use as a rustic background for pictures. Melissa and her family are neighbors here in Marshfield and we enjoyed working with both Melissa and Kevin on their wedding day. Congrats!
Although we have not been to Boston for a while, we enjoyed covering Keelin and Garreth’s winter wedding on the Boston Waterfront. The Fairmount Battery Wharf has a beautiful room that is a perfect spot for a cozy candlelit ceremony. We loved the sparkly trees that Keelin’s mother found for the backdrop for the couple’s vows. I think she purchased them at Restoration Hardware and they were just big enough to light the room. Keelin’s blush Vera Wang gown was the perfect choice for the day. The fur muffs completed the bride and bridesmaids look.
